About Karla

  I am a fashion design student graduating in May 2021 from Savannah College of Art and Design [SCAD]. I consider myself a very positive and happy person, who encourages the well-being of everyone around me. Since a very young age I’ve had a real interest in everything that surrounds art. Since the moment I could walk, I was taking painting classes or any class that could boost my artistic self. I see myself as a creative person with a unique way of thinking.

  Design for me has meant not only a career but a life’s purpose. A way of helping others feel remarkable, empowered, and comfortable. My design aesthetic is very clean and sophisticated. I am a very determined person who seeks to making fashion better for the environment. There’s no greater feeling than helping others feel great about themselves, as well as knowing you are doing no harm to the environment, that’s why in every collection I design I use sustainable fabrics.
